Indeed, having food to eat, clothes to wear, and a roof above our heads is important. However, if we have no one to eat the food with, to admire or help up shop clothes, and no one to spend a quality time under the roof, then, those things, in the end, did not really matter. The material things that people acquire in this world are the things that will help people survive, and not something they would have to live for.
A number of people end up losing their relationships since they have took for granted the goodness of the hearts of their friends. Especially those who are co workers, one friend may have treated the friendship as rubbish just to get a higher position. Surely, a higher position equates in increasing income. However, losing someone whose presence was there every time you need it is not really a wise way to live.
The true meaning would be that there is truly life after death. This means material things are not the things that people should live for. It means taking care of everyone in this world, no matter the status and no matter what they have done, since there is Someone up there who is watching our every move.
However, that Someone will not judge individuals based on the words they have spoken, the actions they have taken, and the thoughts that are running through their minds. Humans are judged by their faith. Although, one should only speak beauty, take good actions, and have good thoughts since those are what make persons truly a believer.
In this messed up world, it is not preventable to have loved ones who are struggling with depression and are having suicidal thoughts. Humans must prioritize the humanity in them, and lend a helping hand to those loved ones. Make them aware of how important they are.
Albeit with the many pleasures this life can offer, such pleasures will not amount to anything. The only pleasure that one should indulge one should be creating memories with the persons we love. Humans should find the deeper definition by spending time with God.
